What are the objectives of the project?

The main objectives of this project is to provide children and Aalborg Zoo’s guests a knowledge of African culture and to learn more about African values and lifestyle as compared to their own world and hence become much more aware of similarities and differences between two cultures. We hope that they will able to have a good experience, gather knowledge and make concrete experiences around the African cultural values and conditions. For us, it is rather important to show the children and Aalborg Zoo’s  guests that we are interdependent and that due to globalization, the world has become a smaller,  where cultures often clash. Furthermore, we would support this idea by making a small fundraising project  in order to make a difference for the poor and disabled children and women in Tanzania. We believe that this group is one of the most marginalized, vulnerable and underprivileged in Tanzania who really need help and support.
