A fantastic event with a fine visit from the best facepainter - Winnie Hedegaard. Children had extremely great experience and an icing of the cake to GLOBAL FAIR. It was overwhelming.

Wednesday the 20th January 2010 we have started our dance project across culture and ethnicity at Gl. Lindholm skole i Nørresundby Aalborg. The main objective of this project is to develop strong, healthy and happy children. It also aims at improving their body movement and cognitive development by increasing physical activity in their everyday life. We hope that the project will manage to motivate children to increase their physical movement including improving and building their physical form in reducing obesity and overweight, thus minimizing the risk of future lifestyle diseases. It also aims in promoting and enhancing their personal development, friendships and social relationships across culture and ethnicity.

At fremme de eksisterende gunstige forbindelser mellem Danmark og Afrika. At øge opmærksomhed og forståelse i Danmark om det afrikanske perspektiv og at løse sociale og udviklingsmæssige problemer i Afrika ligesom, at motivere den afrikanske diaspora til at deltage i sociale og udviklingsmæssige problemer og påvise at den afrikanske diaspora kan have en vigtig rolle at spille, hvor end det er muligt for at forbedre livsvilkårene og standarderne i deres hjemlande.

The African-Danish Network is starting up it's first bigger humanitarian aid effort in Africa during the short lifetime of the organization.
To be more exact we are helping the Ziwani School on the island of Pemba, Tanzania which is located in the Indian Ocean off the coast of Tanzania and north of Zanzibar.
